The weekend was, to put it mildly, "very family-oriented," as my younger sister, her husband, and their three daughters came to spend the weekend here in town and I know they stayed overnight at my mother's house. So the afternoons and evenings of Saturday and Sunday were filled with long chats in the old hallway where about twelve of us gathered, including my mother, my sisters, my brothers-in-law, my nieces, my daughter, my wife, and me... And today, Monday, they were all still here at my mother's house, and breakfast was a real mess where everyone seemed to be talking at the same time without paying attention to each other 🤣 So, instead of staying to participate in what I call "chaotic euphoria of family dialogue" 🤣, I decided to just have a coffee, a piece of toast, and go for a walk in the countryside in search of some spiritual peace and quiet, because I really do love my family, but after having them talk nonstop for 48 hours while they cook and eat as if the world were going to end soon; The truth is, I end up needing some silence and time for myself... Anyway, besides what I've already said, the morning was splendid, clear, and cheerful, although perhaps a little too warm, but it was still a perfect time to wander the country roads carefree, and that's what I did. And here are the photos I took to accompany this story and share with you on #Hive...

El fin de semana estuvo, por decirlo de alguna forma, "muy familiar", pues mi hermana menor, su esposo y sus tres hijas, vinieron a pasar el fin de semana aquí en el pueblo y se que quedaron a dormir en casa de mi madre. Entonces las tardes y las noches del sábado y el Domingo estuvieron repletas de largas charlas en el viejo corredor en donde llegamos a reunirnos unas doce personas contando a mi madre, mis hermanas, mis cuñados, mis sobrinas, mi hija, mi esposa y yo... Y hoy lunes, aún seguían todos aquí en casa de mi madre y el desayuno fue un verdadero caos en donde todos parecían estar hablando al mismo tiempo sin prestarle atención a los otros 🤣 Así que, en lugar de quedarme a participar de eso que llamo "euforia caótica de dialogo familiar" 🤣, decidí tomar apenas un café, una tostada, e irme a caminar al campo en busca de algo de paz espiritual y sosiego, porque de verdad que amo a mi familia, pero después de tenerlos 48 horas hablando sin parar mientras cocinas y comen como si el mundo fuese a acabarse pronto; la verdad es que termino necesitando algo de silencio y tiempo para mi mismo... Y bueno, sea como sea y además de lo antes dicho, la mañana estaba esplendida, despejada y alegre, aunque quizás un poco excesivamente cálida, pero igual era un momento perfecto para recorrer los caminos rurales despreocupadamente y eso fue lo que hice, y aquí están estas fotos que hice para acompañar esta historia y compartir con ustedes en #Hive...
