Sometimes the problems and complex situations in this town seem more raw than usual. I know, obviously, that it's not that the town has some bad days, some good days, and some worse days. No, the situation here is always more or less the same, I know. And if it were to evolve for better or for worse, it would usually happen gradually. But what's really happening on these days that seem more complicated has to do with my thoughts and not so much with external circumstances. Because I have days when simply "waking up as myself is one of the hardest things I have to deal with"... And I'm not talking about a simple "bad moody day"; I'm talking about having the darkest thoughts, writing down sad phrases and verses, inexplicably expressing feelings of rage and even anger, exploding and becoming practically a stranger to the people around me. And then, suddenly and without warning, I'd go back to being my usual self, without too many quirks or complications... This thing that's been happening to me for as long as I can remember is so palpable, so perceptible, that I recall my years in my profession, when I had a boss who, more than just my superior, became my friend. And when he saw me in the office like this鈥攇rumpy, aggressive, unpredictable鈥攈e'd approach me and discreetly say, "I see you're having one of your bad days, so go home and take the day off. I even recommend you call a taxi so you don't drive your car in this state."... And me, knowing myself as I do, I usually took his advice. Although sometimes I would also lock myself in my office without speaking to anyone and get to work on some pending project, making surprising progress in just a few hours... Nowadays, these "episodes" are relatively rare, although often just as intense as before. But fortunately, I have my photography hobby to channel this energy. And these photos today are more or less what happens when I'm walking down the street like this, trying to cope with and release one of those "bad days"...
