Okay, all these photos I'm about to share with you were taken during one of those boring afternoons when we have several hours without electricity here in my town (it happens almost daily here, by the way, and the outages can last up to six hours). The town literally grinds to a halt, and with a heat index of over 36°C and a blazing sun, going for a walk isn't always the best idea. So this afternoon, I grabbed my camera and spent some time looking around my garden and my mother's, which are adjacent to each other. And wow! I found a ton of things to photograph in these spaces!... When I do this, I usually opt for macro shots and close-ups, which allows me to capture many "photos happening" in very small spaces. I also wanted to give this afternoon's activity a more creative touch, so I chose abstract themes for my photos. And I really liked the result; in fact, I kept taking photos until the natural light stopped, and then the processing and editing work was also fun to do...

Bien, todas estas fotos que compartiré a continuación con ustedes, ocurrieron durante una de esas aburridas tardes en la que tenemos varias horas sin electricidad aquí en mi pueblo (aquí sucede casi a diario por cierto y pueden ser lapsos de hasta 6 horas sin servicio eléctrico). Entonces del pueblo literalmente "se paraliza" y con una sensación térmica de más de 36°C y un sol abrazador, salir a hacer alguna caminata no es siempre la mejor decisión a tomar. Así que esta tarde lo que hice fue tomar mi cámara y pasar el tiempo echando un ojo en mi jardín y en el de mi madre que son aledaños el uno del otro. Y ¡Wow!, ¡sí que encontré un montón de cosas para fotografiar en estos espacios!... Y es que cuando hago esto, por lo general opto por hacer macros y acercamientos, así que esto me permite encontrar muchas "fotos ocurriendo" en espacios muy pequeños... Además, también quise darle un enfoque más creativo a esta actividad de la tarde y escogí visiones abstractas para hacer mis fotos. Y me ha gustado un montón el resultado, de hecho, estuve haciendo fotos hasta que la luz natural me lo permitió y luego el trabajo de procesado y edición también fue algo divertido de hacer...

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7}
