Yes, this is definitely a "street issue" because now it is impossible for me to go out in the mornings and not take my camera with me to record the street scenes in the place where I live...

These are the streets in Montalbán (Carabobo state, Venezuela) and are not exactly beautiful streets. On the contrary, here you can appreciate the drama in each corner. It's a town which has become untidy due to a myriad of demographic, economic and social problems. So perhaps it is these same problems that have provided it with this aspect for "eloquent and crude street photos"...

Anyway, I take pictures here almost every day. I do it because I like photography, but I also do it because these streets make me remember and think constantly. After all, I have always lived here and since I retired from my professional life I am almost always in town...

Regarding the fog you see in the photos, it is typical here for several months of the year. It seems to me that we can have more than 100 foggy sunrises annually, so many of my photos have fog. And if this is already a dramatic looking town, all that fog accentuates it to even more touching levels!

Today in particular I decided to make the main edition of these photos in color. But I have added for you monochrome versions of each one. For this I converted the photos to black and white and then applied a faded layer with a slight touch of yellow, this (it seems to me) is now called "bandicoot style", I imagine due to the color similarities with the fur of some of those funny marsupials.

Maybe the same visual and climatic condition in these streets is more propitious even to create monochromatic versions, but as I said before, this time the color also seemed to me very suitable to edit them... I am open to comments and suggestions, feel free to write and tell me what you think about these photos please, that would be a lovely thing for me...
