After a month of non stop working and countless hours of staying up to overtime, our team had finally finished one of the heaviest tasks given to us this month. Our boss announced that we would have a bonus this month, and also bought us some Hokkaido Cheese Tarts to celebrate our work.
The egg tarts were very difficult to get according to him. There was always a line outside the stall, especially the one at KLCC. The cheese tart was really good, different in flavor compared to any other tarts I’ve tried, but in an awesome way. The cheese tarts are not prefered over the Portuguese egg tarts that I wrote about an article before though, as that one I would really prefer with some tea- while this one, more of a stand alone tart.
We had quite a nice little chat over tea time (our boss gave us an extra 1 hour to do whatever we wanted), and bonded as colleagues more. Really grateful for having such a good team to work with, not to mention a boss like that to work under!
