I saw the contest on the Discord server the first time it was posted but my schedule, especially on the upcoming holiday, was a whack! 😆 Christmas parties and preparations are left and right. Also because of this, I missed to claim ZING token on some days. 😩 But this weekend, I found time to sit in front of my laptop in peace to make my entry. 😁

I started by mixing the colors for the background. I chose shades of blue and green and then used the blending brush to mix the colors. For the sand, I used a solid pencil and textured brush for the details.
Next, I drew some coral formations in the background. I used different shades of dark green to make dimensions. I clipped another layer on top to brush it with the color yellow. For the moss, I used a downloaded brush called oil brush to create the texture.
I manually drew the school of fish and used the liquify tool to shape them. The bubbles are created using a downloaded brush from the CSP asset store. I just used a soft brush to create the white foams on the blue background.
I added seaweeds for more decoration on the ground and on the top of the coral formations. I used a pattern brush for the texture. The white rocks are a nice contrast to the green ground. Here, I already put the shadow of the creature using the overlay mode.
Here is my final entry for the contest with the creature in the center. In addition, I placed a backlight to make the creature pop from the background.
