On the initial sketch, I thought of putting some fruits, perhaps some oranges or mangoes. I am not sure if Pandas eat those types of fruit, haha, so I just omitted them in the final line art.
- base color
And then, for the base color, I just simply copied Panyang's original color from the original art.
I took the time to do the trunk's texture by using different brushes.
