Hello friends of #tbt Thursdays!. I always try to share anecdotes from the past in this community that I once started together with my friends and team of moderators, and I try to give clear examples of the main idea, like the post I share with you today, which are pictures of my first birthday; however I have to start by remembering that right now my country Venezuela is in a great conflict since the results of the presidential elections were taken away from us four days ago already, today Thursday. I say this because although I participate in this weekly dynamic I am still part of the collective battle for the freedom of Venezuela, it is impossible not to see the injustices that happen around me and at the same time life goes on, as if nothing happened, but this fight will be until the end!.
¡Hola amigos de los Jueves de #tbt!. Siempre intento compartir anécdotas del pasado en esta comunidad que alguna vez inicié junto a mis amigos y equipo de moderadores, y trato de dar ejemplos claros de la idea principal, como el post que hoy les comparto, que son fotografías de mi primer cumpleaños; sin embargo tengo que iniciar recordando que en estos momentos mi país Venezuela está en un gran conflicto desde que nos arrebataron los resultados de las elecciones presidenciales hace cuatro días ya, hoy Jueves. Digo esto porque aunque participe en esta dinámica semanal sigo siendo parte de la batalla colectiva por la libertad de Venezuela, es imposible no ver las injusticias que ocurren a mi al rededor y a la vez la vida sigue transcurriendo, como si nada pasara, pero esta lucha será ¡Hasta el Final!.

Not only was it the piñata, the birthday cake also had Donald Duck's face on it. My mom tells me that this celebration was in style, and although I don't remember it, it seems to have been my best birthday ever. They put a lot of effort to make it happen and they tell me that there were a lot of people, besides, that day was also my baptism in the Catholic church. It is very nice that parents celebrate their children's birthdays in style, especially the first one, because even though we don't remember them they do it with a lot of love, and I think it is a great celebration for the whole family, just like the cousins' birthdays.
No solo era la piñata, el pastel de cumpleaños también tenía la cara del Pato Donald. Mi mamá me cuenta que esta celebración fue por todo lo alto, y aunque no la recuerde parece haber sido mi mejor cumpleaños. Pusieron mucho esfuerzo para llevarlo a cabo y me cuentan que fue mucha gente, además, ese día también fue mi bautizo en la iglesia católica. Es muy bonito que los padres celebren por todo lo alto los cumpleaños de sus hijos, especialmente el primero, porque aunque no los recordamos ellos lo hacen con mucho amor, y creo que es una gran celebración para toda la familia, al igual que el cumpleaños de los primos.
I just look at the pictures and I can hear in my mind how in tune that happy birthday was, since everyone I see in the pictures are great singers among uncles, cousins and friends. What good times, according to history there were also political problems back then, but the people rose up and solved them, and that guaranteed to have lived in a very beautiful country in the 90's my first 10 years, until 98, where this nightmare that we are trying to end today started. I wish for peace times to come back, no matter if it will take time to recover the stability of the country and no matter if it will be my turn to live a Venezuela in freedom, I wish it for everyone, for those to come, for the children of today, that they can live a childhood as beautiful as the one I had, but in their own nation 🙏
Solo veo las fotografías y puedo escuchar en mi mente lo afinado que estuvo ese cumpleaños feliz, ya que todos los que veo en las fotografías son grandes cantantes entre tíos, primos y amigos. Que buenos tiempos, según la historia también había problemas políticos en ese entonces, pero el pueblo se alzaba y se solucionaba, y eso garantizó haber vivido en un país muy hermoso en la década de los 90's mi primeros 10 años, hasta el 98, donde comenzó esta pesadilla que estamos tratando de terminar hoy. Deseo que vuelvan los tiempos de paz, no importa si tardará tiempo en recuperar la estabilidad del país y no importa si a mí me tocará vivir una Venezuela en libertad, lo deseo para todos, para los que vienen, para los niños de hoy, que puedan vivir una infancia tan hermosa como la que a mí me tocó, pero en su propia nación 🙏
