Special greetings to the whole Hive community, especially to the members of Family & Friends! A couple of weeks ago I posted about the wonderful experience of meeting people from various parts of the world here in Venezuela, we were starting the World Choir project, where we joined several cultures and languages to perform a wonderful concert of international stature. The video I share with you in this post was the result of two weeks of effort and coexistence and today, two weeks later I can say that we really all became friends and the only thing that separates us is the distance between our countries because the union and contact remains strong.
Marina Faggian, Soprano from Argentina
Ana Patricia Carvajal, Conductor from Mexico
In this concert we sang music from many places in the world, mainly from the countries of our visitors and members of the choir, but we also sang music from countries from which there were no singers, but instrumentalists, since at the same time of our event, there was also a World Orchestra, and it was more varied in regions than the choir itself. It was from there that came the piece of music that I share with you in the video, it is titled Kungala, original by Stephen Leek, a composer from Australia. I think that is the farthest place they could visit us here in Venezuela. I have published several posts about this event, but this song being neutral for the choir, since we did not have any representative from Australia or Oceania, I decided to leave this song to highlight all the friends I met from so many different parts of the world.

This piece of music was not one of our favorites among Venezuelan singers. Although at least tenors only say the same word from beginning to end, it is one of the most difficult to prepare. It has many similar phrases and special effects that made us be very attentive to both the score and the conductor, but once the international guests arrived everything changed, we began to love this composition, each one contributed something very tasty to the musical rhythm while our friendships were consolidated. I think it was thanks to this piece where I was forced to cross words in English, especially with the girls from Greece and the delegation from Tunisia, but they were so nice that they gave me the confidence to dare. Today we are still in touch almost daily, and they make the effort to practice their Spanish as well 鉂わ笍

I think that like many here in the community I already had enough friendships scattered around the world, but mainly, or at least in my case I'm talking about Venezuelan people who have migrated. I literally have at least one great Venezuelan friend in every continent, I think we have taken over the world little by little hehe, but now I have the pleasure to say that I have friendships born in those countries that I have admired so much from here, and although we only share two weeks for now, we had the secret formula to consolidate a good friendship, and that is music, the same energy that has introduced me to so many valuable people for me here in Hive, There are many examples, I would like to highlight true friends from outside my Venezuela in Hive such as @cabelindsay,
@mipiano,
@elbuhito,
@eddiespino,
@mayorkeys or
@nanixxx, all from different nations, but with whom I talk very often and I do not lose faith that if one day I travel to their nations I would have the duty to meet them in person. In fact one of those trips will possibly materialize shortly 馃檹 I can not fail to mention the Venezuelans outside my country that I met directly on Hive and that have become a real family:
@musicandreview in Peru and
@fernanblog in Colombia, these beautiful people have been fundamental for me on the platform and have shown me that you can love across the distance and that digital hugs feel very warm 鉂わ笍
@cabelindsay,
@mipiano,
@elbuhito,
@eddiespino,
@mayorkeys o
@musicandreview en Per煤 y

I have just been following very closely what has happened recently in Hive both in Mexico and Poland, I am more and more convinced that the world is coming together and breaking barriers of cultures and languages. I admire all the people who are able to keep the peace and work together with people from very distant lands for the common good and even for the good of others, that is why I am sorry to read about the new wars that are added to those that already existed, every time a war starts I feel that we live a setback in terms of humanity. One believes that everyone has the same approach, but there are bad people who do not allow us to move forward. Imagine now that I continue to meet people from so many countries close to where these violent events are taking place. From here it only remains to pray for them and to make appeals for peace...

I have already met many people living in Australia here at Hive, they are very active and friendly and every day I have more affection for them through the mutual reading of our publications for the platform, @galenkp is a great example. For now I say goodbye inviting you to watch the few videos I have left to share of this event that I have taken as the beginning of a new professional stage in my life, really behind each song hides a great anecdote and learning. My pictures were taken with my Tecno Pova II, although not all of them were taken by me, sometimes my girl and other singers of the group help me. I hope you liked the Kungala, this australian song is the most effective music we did in this concert, and for my luck my girl and I were in the foreground in this video, I had to show them because yes hehe. Happy beginning of the week to all of you.
隆Feliz inicio de semana para todos!.
