I kidnapped my mom for these carnivals and brought her back to the city from our concert on Saturday to give me lots of love and spoil her daily. I think she was a little tired, and we went to many places and ate very well, but on Sunday I was thinking that I needed a perfect ingredient to make this little vacation unforgettable, and that's when I remembered my dad's best friend, who I mentioned a couple of weeks ago was a special guest at the anniversary of the Orchestras and Choirs System. I wrote to her, told her that my mom was in town and we decided to treat ourselves to a special moment.

Rapté a mi mamá en estos carnavales y me la traje a la ciudad desde nuestro concierto del Sábado para regalarme mucho amor y consentirla a diario. Creo que quedó algo cansada, y es que fuimos a muchos lugares de paseo y comimos muy rico, pero el Domingo estuve pensando que necesitaba un ingrediente perfecto para que estas pequeñas vacaciones sean inolvidables, y fue cuando recordé a la mejor amiga de mi papá, que precisamente comenté hace un par de semanas que fue invitada especial en el aniversario del Sistema de Orquestas y Coros. Le escribí, le dije que mi mamá estaba en la ciudad y decidimos regalarnos un momento especial.

Gioconda is a good friend of the whole family, although she came to us thanks to my dad. They were together in a very successful musical group in the 90's and the affection remained forever, in fact she was the one who welcomed me in the city and in my university. I arranged this meeting with her and the idea was to surprise my mom in this Café. For me it was very beautiful to hear so many anecdotes about my dad from both of them, he was the common theme and it is beautiful to hear the great love that Gioconda had as a friend, a real friend beyond death. In fact we are just preparing material for a musical event anniversary of the quintet where they sang together, so it was a great coincidence to join and agree to collect material together.

Gioconda es una buena amiga de toda la familia, aunque llegó a nosotros gracias a mi papá. Estuvieron juntos en un agrupación musical de mucho éxito en los 90's y el cariño quedó para siempre, de hecho ella fue quien me dio la bienvenida en la ciudad y en mi universidad. Cuadré este encuentro con ella y la idea era sorprender a mi mamá en este Café. Para mí fue muy hermoso escuchar tantas anécdotas de mi papá de parte de ambas, él era el tema en común y es hermoso escuchar el gran amor que tenía Gioconda como amiga, una amiga real más allá de la muerte. De hecho justo se está preparando material para un evento musical aniversario del quinteto donde cantaban juntos, así que fue una gran casualidad unirnos y ponernos de acuerdo para recolectar material juntos.
