One of the things I like the most about the first days of the year is the opportunity we have to think about our life resolutions, it is an ideal time to review them and make a renewal of them since in each of them we get support and impulse to our personal growth. Particularly, I will be guided by the post that I also did last year and helped me to give some guidelines to the path we undertake each year.
In the aforementioned post, I said about the year 2020, the year of the beginning of the pandemic, that it was the year where we understood that "Man proposes but God disposes of", well, for me 2021 was the year where I could strengthen the sentence about "Will is power" because despite the various limitations imposed by the pandemic I was able to carry out several projects, both at personal and community level.
For this reason, and motivated by this phrase, I say to myself that it is not that things cannot be done but that sometimes what is lacking is a will, it is not a question of being able but of wanting, hence it helps me personally to set resolutions or goals, not to carry them out or fulfill them to the letter but to have clarity in the fundamental orientations that I want for my life.
Una de las cosas que más me gusta de los primeros días del año es la oportunidad que tenemos de poder pensar en nuestros propósitos de vida, es un momento ideal para revisarlos y hacer una renovación de los mismos, ya que en cada uno de ellos conseguimos un apoyo e impulso a nuestro crecimiento personal. Particularmente, me guiaré con el post que hice también el año pasado y me ayudo a darle unas guías al camino que emprendemos cada comienzo de año.
En el post citado yo decía respecto al año 2020, año de comienzo de la pandemia, que fue el año donde comprendimos que "el hombre propone pero Dios dispone", pues bien, para mí el 2021 fue el año donde pude afianzar la sentencia sobre "Querer es poder", ya que a pesar de las diversas limitaciones impuestas por la pandemia pude sacar adelante varios proyectos, tanto a nivel personal como comunitario.
Por esta razón, y motivado por esta frase, me digo que no es que no se puedan hacer las cosas sino que a veces lo que falta es voluntad, no es cuestión de poder sino de querer, de allí que personalmente me ayuda trazarme propósitos o metas, no para llevarlas o cumplirlas al pie de la letra sino para tener claridad en las orientaciones fundamentales que quiero para mi vida.
Physical and material dimensions. It has to do with our priority needs, not because they are the most important but because of the influence, they have on the other dimensions of our being. Here I focus on things like exercising, having a better diet, taking care of my health, and planning my finances, so as not to neglect my savings and even have goals in this sense in the short, medium, and long term, such as changing my laptop to a more powerful one.
Spiritual dimension. Since we are not simply material beings, there are values and beliefs that ultimately move our day to day, well, I would like this year could be more entrenched in them, for this the means that accompany me are reading books on personal growth and dedicating spaces for reflection to renew my motivation to follow my values of life that if I were asked now I would say that they are the Christian faith and service.
Dimensión física y material. Tiene que ver con nuestras necesidades prioritarias, no porque sean las más importantes sino por la influencia que ejercen en las otras dimensiones de nuestro ser. Aquí me concentro en cosas como hacer ejercicios, tener una mejor alimentación, cuidar de mi salud y planificar mis finanzas, para no descuidar mis ahorros y tener incluso metas en este sentido tanto a corto, mediano y largo plazo, como por ejemplo cambiar de laptop a una más potente.
Dimensión espiritual. Ya que no somos unos seres simplemente materiales, existen valores y creencias que al final mueven nuestro día a día, pues bien, quisiera que este año pudiese estar más afianzado en ellos, para esto los medios que me acompañan son las lecturas de libros de crecimiento personal y dedicar espacios de reflexión a renovar mi motivación para seguir mis valores de vida que si me preguntaran ahora diría que son la fe cristiana y el servicio.
Intellectual dimension. One of the passions of my life is to learn every day about everything that catches my attention. Therefore, in addition to keeping up with my philosophy and theology classes, this year I am venturing to learn programming as well as to resume my English classes, for which at the end of last year I was able to acquire some online courses that I hope to make the most of.
Socio-emotional dimension. An important part of our lives is human relationships and how we can establish a healthy coexistence. In my case, I think that it is not something simply passive but active in that I like to motivate precisely the construction of these relationships. Therefore, for this year I intend to motivate the building of positive and profitable relationships through good advice and the practice of listening and empathy, precisely through example and words.
Dimensión intelectual. Una de las pasiones de mi vida es aprender cada día sobre todo en aquello que llama mi atención. Por ello, además de seguir al día con mis clases de filosofía y teología, este año me aventuro a aprender programación así como retomar mis prácticas de inglés, para ello a finales del año pasado pude adquirir unos cursos on line que espero poder aprovechar al máximo.
Dimensión socio-emocional. Una parte importante de nuestras vidas son las relaciones humanas y como podemos establecer una sana convivencia. En mi caso, pienso que no es algo simplemente pasivo sino activo en cuanto me gusta motivar precisamente la construcción de estas relaciones. Por ello, para este año me propongo precisamente a través del ejemplo y la palabra poder motivar la construcción de relaciones positivas y de provecho a través de buenos consejos y la práctica de la escucha y la empatía.
