The above image is from 2017, given for reference only

My walk was yesterday, but tattoodjay@tattoodjay has said it doesn't matter

TOO much, as long as the parameters are met otherwise.
In Nov 2018 I moved from the location I'd lived since May 2016.
That area was/is saturated with old, derelict and abandoned homes,
Businesses and especially apartment complexes, such as the one
pictured above and below.

I always felt this complex was very intriguing in its design and
Placement. I explored, hence these photos.
In retrospect, not having ANY flat surfaces for the inhabitants to
Play or lounge or work outside (not to mention the lack of
Real usable parking space) would have been problematic to
Say the least.
This photo shows the relationship between where I lived, and
The derelict apartments.

So a couple of days ago, a friend who still lives over there texted
Me this image, captioned "The land right beside your old place"

So, I went yesterday and had a look myself. These were taken
Then, on my Wed walk
DSC_0002.JPG
That little and hardly recognizable structure next to my name
Was a driveway ramp for the complex when still in use.

So then I came home. I had scheduled a revisiting of my old
Friends in Marietta, and the "Tuesday Sing Thing", which I
Had not attended in over a year, mainly due to the distance
And my health.
I am really not safe to drive at night, and being that this is
about 18 mi north of here, going from 7-9 pm, it is always
Dark when we get through during the winter months.
This next image is from several years ago

Our friend Gray, who hosted the above blurry event
Passed away in 2018. Since then they have been
Gathering at various other's homes.
Such as these from last night

Here are a couple of shots from their back deck

just by way of explanation, the "Tuesday Sing Thing" was started
By Gray Skelton, a retired attorney (among other things) and gifted
Musician. He also had SERIOUS, "stage 4" COPD, from which he finally
Succumbed a little over a year ago.
This was just a weekly (at the time) gathering of his friends and neighbors
To laugh, sing along and play along if you knew how, songs that were old
Enough that all of us/them knew and were familiar with.
We are trying to keep his memory and this legacy alive
