Oh my GOD it has become quite a chore. I've been moving these plants (there were TWO pots nearly identical, but one was blown over in a high wind and is now in TWO pots, much more easily moved)
So here are the stages, keep in mind that I am now 69 yrs old with an artificial hip
↑Step one↑
↑Just to show the distance I had to lift down↑
(I tried to be as careful as I could) I would normally ask my friend who lives next door for help, but his hip is in worse shape than mine. When I spoke to him about it, I was more or less going to take this plant to where all my others are now, in the studio under grow lights)
But that would have meant taking that big monster down the 5 front steps to ground level, towing across gravel and grass to the back side of the house.
This is much simpler
Into the front door
Carefully trying to avoid my keyboard (just to the right out of the picture)
Cleared the pathway into the dining room (I know, I have far too much crap in my house)
This is one of the stands both plants were on when the wind blew the other one over and busted the Hades out of that Terra Cotta pot
and
“Voila!”
Before I started all this, I had cleaned my toilet, once this was finished I had to "Go" again, and went back to my bathroom
There is water in a bowl just around the corner (freshened just an hour ago) and plenty of spots where His Majesty drinks outside, but NOOOooo... He had to sneak in behind my back and mess up my clean toilet
I can't keep anything nice 😹
