Happy new months to everyone. We welcome the new month with so much peace and warmth and I pray that the expectations of our heart will come to pass in the new month.

Yesterday, my country celebrated her 66th independent day today and rather than following my sister to the stadium for a match past I decided to visit our farm instead. All of the things that excites me about this country keeps fading over the years even as the country keeps getting harder. We don't know what to expect at anytime but all we try to do is to stay alive for now, very funny though. One can graduate for years without a tangible job and setting up a business is usually like a very difficult task unless you have a sponsor. For now we just do the little we can and see how life turns out for us.

Having stayed at home for a couple of days away from the farm we had to get to the farm yesterday to add some fertilizers to our rice. I understand that quite a number of people are against using inorganic fertilizer to grow their food. Organic foods are very much healthier as a lot of chemicals are now being added to foods to enhance their growth.

Our rice can barely produce tangible quantity of quality grains without the assistance from some fertilizer as we have been farming these lands continuously for years. Rather than adding so much quantity of fertilizer, we only sprinkle very little amount of it on the farms so that the rice can produce some good grains at harvest.

You can see the sprinkling procdecide here. We used about 2.5kg of this fertilizer for a half a plot of rice field and that is the measurements used for applying this.

Our rice are already at their last stage if production and any moment from now they will start bearing some the soft hauls that will carry the grains.
