Sorry, in that you can see all the mess and madness.
I got up this morning at 5 am, earlier than normal, dunno why.
I showered, did a rough braid on me hayer
Did my meds, my coughee and banana bread, then undid me hayer
A friend asked me what conditioner was I using 🤓
6 months ago, I wasn't using ANY, so this is an improvement
Then since I was working on the PC, I went for my "Librarian" look
When it went above freezing, I went outside, bundled up well except for my hands.
Can't use a camera well with glubs. Therefore I didn't last but two photos worth
♫♪BLINDED by the light♫♪
What has all this to do with a bedroom makeover you ask?
I went to Goodwill (it's a thrift store, for those who don't know) and found a new/used desk for my studio, a set of curtains (4 panels, 2 windows worth) and a Salt Lamp, (that didn't work)
I had already purchased the curtain rods/hardware, so after I thawed out, I set about getting these things installed.
So without further ado. The before and after pics
On the left is right after the last redux, where I put the maps on the walls. Now, I have blue, lined panels.
(I'm still getting the swag adjusted, bothers me when they aren't the same)
This was a job too, if I don't mind telling you. Whoever built that closet enclosure put it RIGHT up against the window jamb/molding on the left.
Then, I had two more blue curtain panels left, SOOOO...
The back door, before and after
Remember the "Salt Lamp?" it didn't work.
Last night I took it apart, found that the dimmer in the cord was bad, at least I was pretty sure that was it
So after I got the curtains up, I went to look for some curtain pulls or something, and I remembered there was a small TV repair shop next to the Sewing Machine shop where I bought my new/old sewing machine
I picked this ↑up yesterday↑ that was when I noticed the repair shop.
They guy spent about 20 minutes and fixed my lamp, no cost.
I LOVE living in a small town.
So I thinks I'll be sleeping good tonight.
Oh Yeah! 🍷
Nothing like a glass of watered wine, with Tonic Water for sparkle.
