Hello and welcome to the month of March. It is a very beautiful day and also the first day of the month. March is going to be so awesome. Just watch out.

I have been sharing the experiences I had in Chori, in Kaduna State where I have several ginger farms and if you've been following, I believe you've been learning one or two things from my experience.

I will be sharing pictures of how ginger is harvested.

if you look at the ground of the picture above, you will see dried leaves on the ground that look dried grasses. Those are ginger leaves that have fallen off to the ground and have been dried by the hot sun.

Ginger can be harvested at anytime during the year from September till March before the rain begins to fall again. The product can stay in the ground for more than a year. That is it can remain in the ground for 2years.

The harvest time is set and I will be unleashing to you pictures of the harvest and further descriptions in the subsequent posts about my Chori Farming Experience.

Stay Tuned!!!
