A little while ago, I bought a new dress in a color I don't think I've ever worn before. I had to buy this dress without trying it on in the store because, to be honest, there was a huge line at the fitting rooms, so I decided to just take it as is—especially since I'd been eyeing this dress for several days and, right at that moment, the price had gone down a bit.
How the dress would fit me was a total surprise, and I wouldn’t know until I got home. So I was super anxious the whole way home, hoping it would fit and that I wouldn’t have to go back to the store to return it and get a different size. To my surprise, everything turned out great—the dress was exactly my size, the color was really pretty, and I felt pretty comfortable in it because it has something all women love: pockets.
Even though we don’t wear dresses all the time, they have something special that makes you feel a little more feminine than usual when you put them on. I remember well when I was a little girl and would try on dresses—I used to twirl around to see if the skirt would flare out in the wind—so it’s something we’ve had since we were little girls, at least those of us who like to wear dresses. The truth is, I’m really happy I bought it—especially because it made me feel a little prettier and because it has pockets.
