I heard someone screaming my name

"Erica Erica! Wake up" l was reluctant, I didn't want to wake up. The weather was chilling and a cold breeze flew to my body as I covered myself with the duvet hoping to sleep more but the voice came back again even much louder.

"Erica! Wake up, you will be late for school" I used half of my duvet to cover my ears, I don't want to wake up, I want to sleep more. After 5 minutes my door cracked open and there was a tap on my door.

"Wake up, wake up! I opened my eyes just half way, oh no! Not again, I want to sleep as I yarned. I hate waking up this early to prepare and I have to wash the dirty dishes before preparing for school. That's my worst house chores. It was a daily routine for me but as much as I do it everyday I still wished my mother gave birth to another baby who will take over washing the dirty dishes. I opened my eyes wide open to see the frowning face of my mother. She sighed heavily after I stood up and yanked myself up to my slippers as I made my way to the kitchen to carry out the worst house chores in the world.
