If you regularly visit my blog, I hope you are not tired of boats! We have a very short warm season here in Minnesota and I bask in all of it — the time outdoors, the trails, the wildlife, the boats and the water. Especially the boats and water. I am magnetically drawn to them!
But before I go further, I just want to give a shout-out to @tattoodjay, host of #wednesdsywalk, and
@elizacheng, host of #makemesmile. Be sure to check out their blogs and these fun initiatives.
So here was the first scene that greeted me upon arrival at the lake. As I said to my husband, “What are those kids doing on my dock?”
Ha ha. It’s not my dock. I just like going out there to take pictures. The kids were quite cute. A group of teens that had ridden their bikes to the lake to enjoy the lovely end of the day.
Of course I didn’t want to disturb them so I took pictures of the lake and boats from the shore and the bridge.
I also snapped a picture of this guy who was hanging around the dock. Just kidding. That’s my husband.
We continued walking from there along the trail, and came to a nice overlook where walkers and cyclists often stop to rest and enjoy the scenery.
In this next photo, I love how it looks like the sun is burning a hole through the trees.
After that we turned around and went back to the marina. Now the boats and harbor were bathed in a soft glow because the sun had set.
That’s it for my Wednesday Walk post! Thanks for coming along!
