RE: Dinner At Springs Prime [Fiction]
This is so charming, @kemmyb. I hope my marriage still has that kind of fire after so many years! It's really inspiring. Very clever use of the prompt, too. I just hope Robert and Madelaine can afford

RE: A Bone's Wish
This is a truly amazing story, @idlemind. It blew me away. I was in tears at the end. Short stories in general don't have enough breadth and length to have that kind of emotional impact. But yours did.

RE: SHATTERED
I like some of the artful language you use in your story, @diikaan. But I did not see the need to satisfy the stomach when the heart is aching. I did not see the need to pacify the flesh when the spirit

RE: A Wish Comes True
I enjoyed your story, @cool08. Something great happens for Samuel out of a tragic loss. I liked the intense and slightly eerie scene where he speaks to his parents while meditating and then the cold feeling

Love this story, @wrestlingdesires. Stories in which humans befriend animals and vice versa always charm me! However, would you please make an edit to comply with The Ink Well rules? We don’t allow brutality

Yes, I agree, @cajiro. It is often a shock to come upon such an ending, and we are left with the feeling that we should not have wasted our time reading the story.

Oh my, isn't that true. This writing business is not easy! I have a Hemingway quote at the bottom of my website: There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed. -Ernest Hemingway
