WednesdayWalk - trails, ponds and lakes - Actifit Report Card: April 29 2020

It was a beautiful day here, chilly. As is often the case, I did not get out walking until after dinner and cleanup, so the light was low, but I loved the dusk light coming through trees and had a very nice surprise when we arrived at the lake.

I’m excited to participate again after a hiatus!

Here you can see the evening light shining through trees that are just beginning to leaf out.

And the surprise — a lovely pair of loons.

There was also a young herd of boys that had walked down to the water to go fishing. They had nets and poles and seemed excited. As far as i could tell, they never noticed the loons. it would be eady to confuse them with ducks, I suppose!

And on the way back I couldn't help but capture this picture of kids on bikes joyfully singing as they rode through the tunnel.
