This was supposed to be my Actifit post, but just as I put the last touch on it, the clock struck twelve, my stagecoach turned into a pumpkin, and my Actifit post went poof! (Good news: I hear you can now rescue a post if you miss the deadline. But I don’t have that set up yet.)
So anyway, I think tonight was perhaps one of the most glittering and serene of summer days in recent years. Perhaps those of the past have faded in my memory, or perhaps these lovely summer nights we’ve been having lately are no better than past years, but they seem idyllic.
My husband and I walked our favorite trail.
It is always splendid, but the canopy of trees overhead that have leafed out over the last couple of months creates a mystical feel!
Eventually we come to a marina.
On the other side of the bridge that runs through is the quiet part of the lake with private boat docks.
We saw a mama loon with her baby.
And I captured a nice picture of my husband in the late day sun.
And here were my steps for the day!
