** Dasani **

Coca-Cola decided to voluntarily withdraw Dasani water from the market due to a timely incident. In that country, the law stating that bottled water must contain a certain level of calcium. During the water purification process, calcium produced potassium bromate, carcinogenic, at levels that exceeded twice the standards allowed in that country, but lower than the standards demanded by the European Community.
Despite strict quality controls that Coca-Cola has worldwide, the company only detected this problem after bottling the water and putting it up for sale. The incident was reported to the Food Regulatory Office, which confirmed that the issue did not pose an immediate risk to consumers. However, since the product was out of standard in England, the Company decided to withdraw the entire product from the market by giving notice to the authorities and the media.

Opinion: Regardless of whether the amount of potassium bromate does not cause problems or pose any risk, they should have withdrawn that product even if they have lost, because that carcinogenic product continues to be harmful, making customers unknowingly consumed poison for their bodies. Since society is driven by the profitability of a product they decided to risk the health of their consumers by earning a few billions of dollars, leaving aside the fact of caring for customers and offering a high quality product.
