I was disappointed by my own mechanic today.....
I am actually incharge of some technical issues in my office, including the generator.
It got bad few days ago....some wires got burnt which led to it not coming on using the normal key starter.
I arranged with the mechanic to come fix it and informed him there will be a meeting by 6pm today, so we will be using it.....Funny enough he had come to check it on sunday and did it in such a way that ,him alone could put on the generator.
We talked last at 11am today. He assured me that before the meeting, everything would be set up. I trusted and waited for him based on past help he had rendered and the fact that he was a professional in the job.
It became 3pm, 4pm,5pm and then 6pm, still I did not hear from this man, called severally but he never took any of my calls.
The meeting started , good thing there was nepa light. But was scared it would go off anytime as their tradition was.
Guess what!
The meeting held for 3hrs and to my greatest surprise we used the Nepa light althrough.......
Uptill now, I have not heard from the mechanic......God was on my side despite the disappointment....
I would have lost my job.....#thankful#
