Greetings!
People looking for remote jobs should not be blamed as such and this is because they are only looking for a better means to earn their living. As for me, one thing that I have got to know in life which to me is applicable to everyone is that, no one would see a better option and opt for such an option that would not better their lives.
For instance, I personally would not advice anyone living in this my country to choose a physical work or job over a remote job and the reason is not far fetched, the reason is just as simple as ABC, the reason is not just because of the pay, but the cost of transport in this our highly inflated economy where it's hard for majority of the people to make ends meet even in their salary when being paid.
In my place of work, a guy just dropped his resignation letter just because he could not afford the transport fee again as nothing would remain if he should deduct his transport fee from his salary, so, just because of this, he dropped his resignation letter and when I saw him after he had dropped his resignation letter, he told me that what he's now looking for is a remote job which would not cost him his monthly salary due to transportation.
Also, the advent of technology has really contributed to the decline in the physical job as people now engage in remote jobs over physical jobs. Now, we now have people working from home rather than going to offices, the comfort of their room has now become their offices. So, technology is really working against the future of physical jobs and I'm very sure that one day, remote jobs will take over 70% of the jobs in the public.
So, having talked extensively about remote work and physical jobs, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt in the Hive learners community which is all about, “Remote Work.”
Back to the context of the prompt before me this day, what I will say is that, the future of the physical office presence job is in danger and this is because, due to the economic situation of the world and most especially of that or my country, so many people would prefer a job that can help them to save more money than that which would cost them extra fund.
No one like I said earlier would see a better option that would help to better his or her own life and opt for another one that would drag him or her to being a pauper. Everyone in this life want to live a life that would make sense and if there's an opportunity for one to choose a better life for him or herself, I don't think such a person would want to miss such opportunity and to me, that's the opportunity that the remote job has presented to people in this current dispensation and this opportunity will surely put the physical office work in jeopardy.
