Most people joke and say they have OCD , but don't understand how serious it is for those who suffer from the illness. The reason I say suffer cause that's what I have been through.

I suspected from high school I had OCD, when I felt I needed to ask everyone questions about my actions like 20 times over. I checked my electric plugs more than 5 times to make sure that it was off so a fire can't start. Same with taps I always needed to check if it was closed cause I scared I am going to flood my house. When I got my license I also felt worried cause I was scared I drove over somebody.

I talked to my mom when I start noticing my struggle and how much time I lost by my repetitive actions. She first told me it is all in my head she told me not to tell anybody so tried not to.But as I grew older it became more severe.

I wanted to die rather tham go through this torture. I felt like a shity song on replay x1000.

Eventually when I went to university I reached breaking point and when to talk to a psychiatrist. After weeks of treating my depression and OCD we made a break through after a lot of decision.

Now I am a dental student, I am lot more happier and takings my meds daily it really helps.
