Science and faith do not contradict each other!
We do not die when we stop breathing, but when we stop being in the memory of people... (Re-cordis... re-passing through the heart). Treat everything in life... and if one day it is not possible... keep acts, changes or projects as a tribute to the absent good that now lives only in our heart.
There are many deaths in life... to our version... to a love... to a loved one... but always (after just enough time to reorganize) the good can be kept eternal with gratitude and compassion.
There is something that science alone cannot explain, and that is where a person gets strength from when he has already lost almost everything.
Look, over the years, and with everything I've seen throughout my life, I've come to understand that many times that strength is born of something that goes beyond what we can touch: faith, hope, that certainty that there is something bigger that sustains us when our own legs can no longer do it.
That's why I have the conviction that believing is also healthy. No matter how you live it, holding on to something that gives you hope in the middle of darkness is one of the most powerful resources a human being has to not give up.
And in a moment like the one my country, Venezuela, is experiencing now, that shared hope, that of an entire people asking for the same thing, becomes an unstoppable and unshakable force, a product of our spiritual union.
Everyone exercises faith from their own convictions, and that's okay, because from faith we renew strength and hope.I also think that the hope shared with all my people in the same tune is what gives us an unshakable strength.
Growing spiritually and taking care of our physical health is a daily ant job that we must intensify in these moments of darkness. I invite you to reflect on this: let's lift up the country, yes, but let's do it upright, with a clear mind and a protected heart. Only by being well ourselves, we will be able to be support for others.
Anxiety wants immediate answers. Faith learns to rest even when it doesn't have them yet.
Take care of yourself and take care of others!... We need to stop treating life like a waiting room. What we are waiting for, will never come as long as we wait. It comes after we internally appropriated that.
As it is inside, it is outside. In these moments... let's hug the ones we love every day several times a day. Only love soothes the soul!. Leaving beautiful footprints is what will always remain.
