La idea esa hacer una postal de año nuevo para Hive, sin embargo conversando con varios amigos sobre todo el bum Holozing, y dado que llevo un tiempo delegándole a este proyecto y que espero que ya muy pronto podamos jugar, decido entonces en ves de hacer la postal de forma general, dedicarla a los personajes súper graciosos que ya podemos reconocer.
PROCESS
To make the greeting card I decided to use Adobe Illustrator because those who usually read me know that I'm a big fan of photoshop, but since the illustrations of the characters have this 2d aesthetic I decided to use this program to do it.
I started with the christmas tree that I made from scratch as well as the Christmas lights brush.
Para hacer la postal decidí usar Adobe Illustrator aunque es los que habitualmente me leen sabrán que soy muy fan de Photoshop, pero ya que las ilustraciones de los personajes tiene esta estética 2d me decidí por este programa para hacerlo.
Comencé por el árbol de navidad que hice desde cero al igual que el pincel de guirnaldas.
Then I downloaded from the official site of HOLOZING their characters and vectorized them in Illustrator to be able to work with them.
Después descargué del sitio oficial de HOLOZING sus personajes y en Illustrator los vectoricé para poder trabajar con ellos.
Then I placed them where I thought they would look good, around the tree.
Luego los ubique donde me parecia podian quedar bien, alrededor del árbol
For Water Whale we put a basin filled with water so that it could also be near the tree.
Para Water Whale pusimos una palangana llenita de agua de manera que pudiera estar también cerca del árbol!
I added the background, I wanted it to be red for the whole Christmas theme, so I worked with a radial gradient to brighten the area around the tree.
Agregue el fondo , quería que fuera rojo por todo el tema de la Navidad, así que lo trabajé con un degradado radial para dar mas brillo en la zona alrededor de árbol.
I introduced some elements that represent the characters, such as bubbles, fire, grass and of course, Electric Rabbit provided the electricity for our tree!
Introduje algunos elementos que caracterizan a los personajes, como las burbujas, el fuego, pasto y por supuesto , Electric Rabbit nos proveyó la electricidad para nuestro árbol!
I added the name and more Christmas lights around it!
Agregué el nombre y más guirnaldas a su alrededor!
Finally, I exported what I had created in Illustrator to Photoshop and added some finishing touches to the colors and congratulations for the new year 2024!
Para finalizar, exporté lo creado en Illustrator para Photoshop y dar algunos toques finales en cuanto a los colores y agregar por último las felicidades por el nuevo año 2024!
