Am I too late to set up a new goal for the new year? I hope not. Initially, I didn't have any plans of having one specifically in Hive so as not to pressure myself with the numbers. I'd like to be free flowing when it comes to my writing. But I've recently came across a reblog from @ifarmgirl about the Saturday Savers Club hosted by
@eddie-earner.
Everything you need to know about the Saturday Savers Club for 2025.
@eddie-earner/saturday-savers-club-or-year-5-2025-launch-and-faqs-or-500-hp-prize-draw-or-everyone-welcome
So I thought, why not join the challenge to set accountability in my hive growth? In this challenge, I won't be focusing much on numbers and instead focus on consistently writing. I also set goals that are attainable to me so as not to overwhelmed myself.
Goal:
Primary- increase to 1600-2000 HP
Secondary- save at least 1200 HBD
Grateful. As I look back at the year that has been, I can't help but feel grateful for this platform. I started this journey because of my love for writing. Through which, I was able to connect with a lot of amazing people, experience different culture, learned more about crypto and the market, and an opportunity to afford myself simple joys.
Last year, I bought a new phone using my earnings here in hive which in return, I use for taking better photos for my blogging. This is probably one of my best purchase in 2024.
I also started trading crypto that allowed me a gain of 25%. It's not much compared to other people's gains but this is a hard earned salary money that I put into and I'm glad that instead of putting it in the bank that earns 0-4% interest, I earned x6 through crypto. I was able to have a better judgement through reading finance blogs from @cryptoandcoffee
@jongolson
@josediccus and many more finance blogger. This year, I hope to learn how to navigate InLeo so I could post some of my finance learnings as well.
Lastly, I would like to thank @kungfukid for introducing me to this platform and to the whole community. I am forever grateful to you. May this year bring you closer to your goals as well.
Thank you everyone for supporting my blogs.
With love,
Jane
