Many a time a person can't find the words to say something about "something".
Well, then we could look through their LP/CD collection and we can learn a lot about that person.
I don't know what the "meanings" are, but when I think about it, it does make a lot of sense, just going by my own little collection of songs that I tend to consider to be "my favourites" or in some way songs that I can listen to no matter how old or new they may be.

However, songs do say a lot about a person and they can often say what a person can never say out aloud!
