Continuing the preview of my new minimalist tarot, yet to be named, is the Tower! We just passed the one year anniversary of Trump's inauguration. The Tower card represents ruin, destruction, desolation, and collapse. The tower is struck by lightning and set abalze by the energy that comes crashing down. I think of Trump when I see this card, the 16th major arcana, or "trump" of the tarot.
Trump Tower has had two fires caused by electrical issues, the most recent of which produced a wonderful photo of dark smoke rising out of a window. It sucks that anyone was hurt in this fire, but it strikes me as more than a coincidence. Who knows.
By the way, I am intentionally leaving the names off the cards.
