Este viernes por fin me anime a hacer o mejor dicho a iniciar mi tarea en la que debo hacer 4 cartas del Tarot de los Arcanos Mayores, la primera es el Mago, que es la carta numero 1, esta va justo después de la carta del loco. El Mago simboliza el aprendizaje, la búsqueda del conocimiento, la creatividad, el uso, la experimentación y entendimiento de los elementos que se tienen a mano y están disponibles en el entorno, en la mesa dispone de la copa, que simboliza el agua (sentimientos y emociones); el basto, que simboliza el fuego (acción, movimiento); el athame que es el aire (pensamientos, análisis) y por ultimo el oro o pentaculo, que representa la tierra (material, físico, dinero); arriba tiene un infinito que representa el potencial ilimitado que tenemos para crecer y evolucionar.
El mago sostiene arriba una vara que canaliza la energía, esta conecta con la parte espiritual o elevada, mientras la otra mano señala hacia abajo para indicar que debemos estar conectados a la tierra , la conexión con lo elevado y lo terrenal, manteniendo el equilibrio, en su vestimenta el blanco es pureza y el rojo es pasión, los elementos florales representa la belleza, vitalidad del espíritu.
Para crear la carta me entregaron una tarjeta de cartulina blanca, yo compre un marcador negro doble punta (fina y ultra-fina), y unos colores muy económicos en una de las tantas tiendas de chino, la verdad mis colores están en resguardo en otra casa pero preferí no molestar y probar estos, que al final resultaron bien funcionales.
PROCESO
Con un lápiz de grafito normal, empece a hacer el boceto del dibujo, como pueden ver borraba y demás, pero porque no estoy muy acostumbrado a dibujar a mano, definí las figuras y sus posiciones.
Con el marcador empece a delinear y a jugar con distintos anchos de linea negra, ya finalizado los trazados, procedo a borrar todo lo que esta hecho a lápiz. creo esta parte me quedo bien.
Por ultimo toco colorear todo el dibujo con los lapices de colores, no soy experto coloreando pero aun así me quedo muy bien, quede contento y refleja la energía que quería transmitir. Espero les haya gustado este post sobre esta carta del mago que hice a mano.

PROCESS
Using a regular graphite pencil, I started sketching the drawing. As you can see, I erased and so on, but that's because I'm not very used to drawing by hand. I defined the figures and their positions.
With the marker, I started outlining and playing with different widths of black lines. Once the outlines were finished, I erased everything done in pencil. I think this part turned out well.
