Actually, don't let me fool you, my vintage aluminum tree has been up about 10 days and my tabletop tree has been up since last weekend.
I couldn't wait !
Ok, I didn't really try to wait, but I thought about waiting. Does that count for anything???
This Gingy is my first outdoor blow up decor. They have been all the rage for a good while around here and some folks have their yards full of them. I have to admit I have never had the desire to have any. Sure I love seeing tacky Christmas decor of nearly any kind. It ALL makes me happy, but still, blow up ??? LOL.... Well, I wanted something new and big enough to stand out, but easy to put up. I saw this happy Gingerbread Man on Amazon and I liked that he was waving. Besides that, he wasn't expensive.
When the box came the other day I thought surely they had sent me the wrong thing because it was so SMALL ! ...but.... it was right ! The fabric is very thin and was rolled into a tight ball, so I have no idea how long it might last, but for however long that is, he will be waving from my porch. My only slight disappointment was that the waiving arm is not lit up well, so I don't really know if anyone driving by will be able to tell, but .... oh well ! He still has the happiest smiling face around, so it's almost all good.
I also have a few lights on the front of my side porch. I may put a few more out there... or not. Other than that, this is it for my outdoor Christmas decor. (I think 😊 )
