Hi, I'm back with another contribution to Gaming Photography community and this time I'm going to join Gaming Photography Weekly Contest - Theme: Night Photography. showing and talking about some of my night photographs that I did in RDR 2.
There'll be some stored photos and some more that I captured dedicating to this contest.
The three photos you're seeing above are not from the same moment as you can see but it was a single night when I took my horse out to see the beauty of night in RDR 2. Look how the moon and those stars were shining through us.
These three were taken at an entire different day, not just different in the game time but also different in my real time. I like these playful attempts of my horses that they does when I do a hard brake at any mountain cliff.
Now this was another day when the sky was partially cloudy on my side as you can see but there was moon light as well so it was not that dark. I was going to chase down a wanted lady and I stopped there noticing this beautiful tree to get some good frames.
I started playing in the photo mode and setting it in advanced view, I was trying to get the camera behind the tree to get these perfect shots especially leaving my character on the horse and the moon behind the tree. How do you like these clicks?
And now I was passing a small water current that was flowing down the mountain not far and probably making a cool waterfall and I didn't forget to freeze the frame to get a good shot.
There I stopped on a mountain cliff just to feel these beautiful views. The first one there shows a vast open space forward and the second one is also beautiful that shows you the moon light showing those mountains and tall trees.
I'm out of stored photos so I'll play the game now and do some more night photography. Let's see what I can get.
Here I'm back doing some photography in night at Saint Denis. Let's check them out.
As I was at the port of Saint Denis, I thought of trying my photography from the water. Now they're some fishing boats on the water floating themselves.
And that's how the port looks like when I was deep in the water and I clicked this one right before I was drown along with the boat I was riding/rowing.
This is the harbor master office of the port of Saint Denis. There were a lot of peoples there and the lightings looked cool.
Those factory smoke looked like dark clouds in the night when the sky was quite clear.
There I found this cool lamp on my way so I stopped there to click this one. I personally like such lampposts and I do photographs like this in my real life as well.
Found this man smoking there with much happiness and playing with the photo mode, I took this shot.
Ain't that tree looks beautiful? It looks like that light is attached to the tree but no, that's a lamp post there.
Now lets checkout how I fight others in night. I was trying to talk to these peoples to know how they life is going but someone was being rude so I was being rude as well so one of them started fighting me and couple more of them came running to get me.
Fighting those factory workers were hard as they were stronger and my fist fighting skill was not good enough. But I planned to fight them with bare hands only.
I had to take health tonics three times otherwise they'd kill me for sure. And I guess it was necessary to do a fist fight like this so my skill in this part gets better. And I won the fight.
I ended up in jail after I surrendered to the lawmen of Saint Denis as I became a wanted man after shooting some peoples in the saloon there. Then Hosea came over to bail me out and after bidding him goodbye, I was going to the city again.
Ain't this a fantastic frame in night? It was snowing a little, not raining what I noticed. That horse was probably sleeping there standing under the lamppost.
Here I'm finishing the post for today and I'll come talk about more special RDR 2 gaming moments in Gaming Photography.
