Terms and conditions is a strong detailed well articulated writing that has backed up every contract, jobs, transactions and whatever that has to do with knowledge.
And I will advise that one should go through every detail mentioned on the basis of terms and conditions before signing anything for any reason.
I once was offered a job that would have been a promising one, a job that needs more attention as that's the only way to enhance your promotion at work.
I got an email from the office asking me to report at the office on or before the last day in the month of August. That mail has been laying in my box for over a week that I didn't discover until that day when it was supposed to have elapsed.
Out of curiosity I boarded the next available car that dropped me off at the venue. I was almost late as I met so many people who had been there before me.
Series of interviews were passed on to the various people seated there. It was about to go down before I entered.
Lucky me, I was offered the opportunity to be interviewed which of course i did well that came from the interviewer.
I met close to 70 people who came for the interview but then I was among the 6 lucky persons who were selected for the job.
We were issued our appointment letters when we were tested to be medically fit for the job.
That was where the whole thing got messed up.
Attached to their appointment letter is the terms and conditions ruled out on what we must take into consideration as we carry out our jobs although we already know what our job is but then some key things were outlined in the page where the terms and condition were written which would have served as the pass way into our greatness but curiosity did not allow 5 of us go through these terms and conditions we blatantly skipped and signed blindly without taking note.
Here we have been working for the past 2 years without advancement but then one of us who went through those details worked for just 7 months and when his promotion came he was made to supervise us.
But then his rapid promotion got me amazed as it made me more close to him. I asked if he knew someone in the head office but his reply was No.
Considering how close we became he decided to tell me some of the secrets which were written but we were too careless not to go through them. We have always told ourselves that the Devil was at work since we couldn't elevate from our position to another.
We always make use of the phrase “Village people are at work in our lives” unknowing to us that we were the village people harming ourselves, only if we had just performed a simple task of reading all this would have been history by now.
