Hello! My dear online readers! How are you? I’m so happy to be back here to tell you that I’m really happy, and that’s because, after so many years, a bookstore that was my favorite literary paradise when I was younger has reopened in my city! It’s the Nacho bookstore, which has reopened its doors at the Sambil Shopping Center in Chacao for now. I had the chance to visit it, and I’d love to share with you what I found!
Hola! Mis queridos amigos lectores de internet! Como están? Estoy muy feliz de estar nuevamente por aquí para contarles que estoy muy feliz, y es porque después de tantos años volvió a abrir en mi ciudad una librería que en mi juventud era mi paraíso literario favorito! Se trata de la librería Nacho, la cual volvió a abrir sus puertas en el Centro Comercial Sambil de Chacao por ahora. Tuve la oportunidad de visitarla, y me encantaría compartir con ustedes lo que encontré!
I really like the store's layout; the shelves are organized by genre, and I was able to find interesting books in each section—especially in the Young Adult and girls' sections. As you know, I enjoy books by Wattpad authors like Joana Marcús, Ariana Godoy, Flor M. Salvador, and Alex Mírez, and there are several titles here at quite reasonable prices compared to other stores. I also spotted a book by Alice Kellen that I plan to buy soon.
Realmente me gusta la distribución de la tienda ya que, cada estante se divide por géneros y en cada uno pude encontrar libros interesantes... especialmente en la sección juvenil y de niñas ya que, como saben me gusta los libros de las autoras de Wattpad, como Joana Marcús, Ariana Godoy, Flor M. Salvador y Alex Mírez y aquí hay varios títulos a precios bastante razonables en comparación a otras tiendas, también le eché el ojo a uno de Alice Kellen, que pienso comprar pronto.
The “New Releases” and “Classic Literature” sections also have some very interesting stories. Among them, the books "The Devil Wears Prada" and "Project Hail Mary" are among my favorites that I picked up, and to me, they're great new finds! And as a fan of classic literature, I loved the new versions of some of my favorites, which I also hope to take home soon.
Las secciones de Novedades y Literatura Clásica también tiene historias muy interesantes, de los cuales los libros de "El Diablo viste de Prada" y "Proyecto Hail Mary" están entre mis favoritos que conseguí, los cuáles para mí son buenas novedades! Y como fan de la literatura clásica, amé nuevas versiones de algunos de mis favoritos los cuales también espero llevar próximamente.
I also found some other books that I read a while ago and that bring back fond memories, such as those by Sarah Maas and Stephen King. There are also many fantasy novels that really catch my eye thanks to recommendations from a friend and their eye-catching covers.
También conseguí otros títulos que leí hace tiempo y me traen muy buenos recuerdos, como los de Sarah Maas y Stephen King, también hay muchos libros de literatura fantástica que realmente me llaman la atención gracias a recomendaciones de una amiga, y a sus llamativas portadas.
I couldn't help but check out the central display cases, which feature beautiful editions of books like the Harry Potter series which are all colorful and hardcovers as well as other books by great authors such as Frank Herbert, George R. R. Martin, and Ali Hazelwood. There really is such a wide variety that I had a great time exploring them with my mom.
No pude dejar de revisar los aparadores centrales, que tiene hermosas versiones de libros como los de Harry Potter, los cuales son coloridos y con tapa dura, también otros libros de grandes autores como Frank Herbert, George R. R. Martin y Ali Hazelwood. De verdad hay tanta variedad que me deleité un buen rato explorando con mi mamá.
I’m really happy to have been here because this bookstore brings back such fond memories—when I was a teenager, I not only bought lots of books here, but I also used to buy my Pascualina journals, and when the bookstore closed, I couldn’t find them anywhere else for quite a while, so I’m really looking forward to buying them here again! And even though I wasn’t able to buy anything this time, I have my eye on a lot of books that I can buy online, and since they accept Cashea, I can pay for them in installments, hahaha 🤭 It’s been a real pleasure to share my visit to this beautiful literary paradise with you all! ✌🏻.
Realmente estoy muy feliz de haber estado aquí ya que esta librería me trae recuerdos muy bonitos ya que, en mi adolescencia no solamente llegué a comprar muchos libros, sino que también compraba mis diarios Pascualina y cuando la librería cerró no las conseguí en ningún otro lugar por un buen tiempo entonces espero con ansias volver a comprarla aquí! Y aunque en esta ocasión me fue imposible comprar algo, tengo en la mira muchos libros los cuales puedo comprar online y, como tienen cashea los puedo comprar por cuotas jajaja 🤭 ha sido un gran placer compartir mi visita a este hermoso paraíso literario con ustedes! ✌🏻.
