I’d like to tell you about one of my favorite places in my city: a bookstore with a very fitting name—"Alegría" (Joy)—and any avid reader will understand why. The shop has a very cozy atmosphere filled with all kinds of books, neatly organized by genre. But that’s not all; they also sell accessories to enhance your reading experience, such as scented candles that create a warm, pleasant ambiance—perfect for staying relaxed during that sacred reading time. At least, that’s how I see it.
Quiero hablarles de uno de mis lugares favoritos de mi ciudad, se trata de una librería que tiene un nombre muy apropiado, se llama "Alegría" y todos los asiduos lectores entenderán porqué, el lugar tiene un amiente muy acogedor lleno de libros de todo tipo, muy bien organizados en sus secciones por género, pero no solo eso, también venden accesorios o elementos que pueden ayudarte a tener una mejor experiencia de lectura, como velas aromáticas que te pueden proporcionar un ambiente cálido ay agradable, perfecto para permanecer relajado en tu sagrado momento de lectura, al menos yo lo veo así.
The place is huge and stocks a wide range of books—famous titles, classics, and works by new or lesser-known authors. Some sections feature lovely decor, like this planter that really reminds me of Harry Potter. Beyond standard books, they also sell audiobooks, manga, drawing and coloring books, and even volumes containing the country's most important laws—which are worth having at home so we can stay informed about our rights.
El sitio es muy grande y cuenta con muchos libros, títulos famosos, clásicos y algunos de autores nuevos o no tan conocidos, también tienen una decoración preciosa en algunas secciones, como esta maceta que me recuerda mucho a Harry Potter, pero además no solo venden libros comunes sino audiolibros, manga, libros para dibujar o colorear e incluso libros con las leyes más importantes del país, que es recomendable que tengamos en casa para conocer nuestros derechos.
One of the things that really caught my eye was a stand filled with fascinating books; I discovered *Quidditch Through the Ages* by J.K. Rowling there—part of the Harry Potter universe—though I fortunately already own a copy (albeit not the hardcover or that specific edition). However, what I liked best were the books about Disney villains; there was one about villains in general, while the others seemed to focus on specific female villains. I looked closely but didn't find one featuring my favorite—Frollo from *The Hunchback of Notre Dame*—though I certainly would have bought it if I had.
Una de las cosas que más llamó mi atención es un stand lleno con libros muy interesantes, pro allí descubrí Quidditch a Través de los Tiempos de J.K Rowling y que forma parte del universo de Harry Potter pero afortunadamente yo ya lo tengo, aunque no es de tapa dura y tampoco es esa edición, pero lo que más me gustaron fueron esos libros sobre villanos de Disney, hay uno sobre villanos en general, y los otros parecen corresponder específicamente a una villana. Yo revisé el bien y no encontré de mi favorito, Frollo, de El Jorobado de Notre Dame, de haberlo encontrado lo hubiese comprado.
Oh, and how could I not take photos of one of my favorite Harry Potter editions? Ahhh, I love it! 😍 Seriously, I love that edition; this bookstore definitely has a very fitting name—just like I told you—don't you think?
Ahhh y ¿Cómo no tomar fotos de una de las ediciones que más me gustan de Harry Potter? ¡Ahhhh, me encanta! 😍 en serio amo esa edición, definitivamente esta librería tiene un nombre muy apropiado, tal como les dije, ¿no lo creen?
