This "classic" gets its character from Byrrh Grand Quinquina, a French Apertif. Typically combined with Rhum Agricole, I substituted Leblon Cachaça, a rum made from cane juice as opposed to molasses. Elderflower liqueur and fresh lemon juice is also added to give this drink extra depth. Enjoy!

1 oz. Byrrh
1 oz. Rhum Agricole or Cachaça
.5 oz Elderflower Liqueur
.5 oz fresh lemon juice

Shake and Strain into chilled cocktail glass
