When I gave birth to my baby girl, Elise, I knew exactly what I said to myself.

She looks like me.

I had so many photos when I was a newborn.

If my mother were alive to this day, I think she would say the same thing.

She was born with a reddish skin, same as like me.

In the other photos, she looked like she had dark skin.

While Alexandre had white skin.

I was really confident to say that yes, my baby girl looked like me.

But on the third day, my friends on Facebook said she became a girl version of Alexandre.

Hahaha!

Funny how babies change their faces in just a few days.

Later on, people thought they were twins.

Haha, well, it was my dream to have twins, but my doctor in the Philippines told me that having twins with my petite body is too much to handle.

And she said that it was not sure to have a NORMAL delivery but possibly more on Cesarean delivery.

And yeah, since having twins is more about genetics, we don't have twins on my side of the family.

Excuse me for the haggard look because I experienced depression in my second pregnancy.

It took me a while to recover; I looked so tired and got some skin problems.

Anyway, I was happy to give birth to a healthy baby girl.

I was worried that she would be a sickly baby while I was depressed.

See you in the next blog, Ciao!
