What are you interested in graffiti, murals or other wall art in coffee shops? I have a unique story for you..
Hello everyone,
How are you today? I hope we are all well and happy wherever you are. This is week 27 of #TheCoffeeShopPrompt with a theme you may have experienced while in a coffee shop. There are lots of fancy and minimalist coffee shops that have attractive designs to decorate their walls.
There are not a few that only sell coffee, for example coffee shops that only serve take and go, usually in several MRT or bus stations whose target market is people who need coffee but don't have time to sit in the coffee shop. On the other hand, there are lots of coffee shops that attract customers to come because the place is attractive, comfortable and also fancy.
But, even though there are many coffee shops like that, of course they will be very interesting in terms of interior design, the easiest thing to design is to nicely make wall hangings. It can be from murals, graffiti, paintings and other interesting displays, to turn the wall into attention and interesting to talk about.
For example one of these coffee shops, Diffs.Co Coffee Shop, interesting to discuss because this coffee shop is very close to my house. Initially, I wasn't interested enough to come to this coffee shop, because from the front it looked very ordinary, I even came to this coffee shop because many people were talking about the ginger coffee. Yes, that's right, coffee with ginger and various spice, if you know chai tea, it's almost like that, but it doesn't use tea but 1 shot of espresso.
In my opinion, the ginger coffee is very delicious, I don't know why, it feel very warm when you sip it, I'm very comfortable with the taste of this ginger coffee. Have own taste, although I know this is not easy for everyone to accept. Maybe it will be very acceptable to people aged 30 years and over, because it helps a little when you feel tired when you need a drink that can relax the body, like drinking warm ginger water.
However, it's not only the ginger coffee that makes me really taste and like this coffee shop, the design also really catches my attention, especially on some of the cool mural spots that I had never thought of before. It's like an interesting hidden gem, because it's probably very close to the neighborhood where I live.
Murals on Bar Table
The interesting thing is, you will agree with me that this wall art is very interesting. What do you think, what do you think about this wall? Maybe you will think that this wall is pasted over with black foam, like wall art which is commonly called foam stickers. But what's interesting is, it's made from coffee beans that have been roasted, with a very thick, almost black color.
Everyone wouldn't think it's made of coffee beans if you see it from afar, and it's a complete map of Indonesia. You see a very beautifully carved map on the gray wall, with very good detail of course. There are even some small islands that are also painted in it.
For some reason, I like templates like that, indicating that this coffee shop has a high sense of nationalism and art. It is inconceivable that there is an attractive wall in a coffee shop like this. It's not easy to make wall art like this, it takes quite a long time to think about the concept and carve it one by one on the wall.
It's also beautiful because the wall is painted in a matching gray color, I won't understand if the wall is green, it's definitely out of tune and maybe it would be too much. However, the concept of the wall was interesting enough to attract the attention of many people who came. I think it's quite suitable because this August is Independence Day right at the time of their grand opening.
Call me Isdarmady, because I have a full name that is very long, namely Isdarmady Syahputra Ritonga. I am a head of the family who work as Farmers Vegetables Hydroponic and Consultant Hydroponics, sometimes I also sell coffee from various regions in Indonesia.
I have expertise dispensing coffee with a variety of techniques and tools brewing, because I have the desire to make a coffee shop with hydroponics as centerpieces. Help me realize that dream.
