An Evening of Ballet
Fortunately I live in a city where the cultural scene is very dynamic, every day we have the opportunity to discover various events that allow us to enjoy enriching and unforgettable moments, the most interesting of all is that we are talking about high quality presentations that fit all budgets and can be enjoyed on the most iconic stages of the Venezuelan capital. For many years ballet was considered an exclusive activity of the social elites, but with the passing of time this delicate and refined artistic expression gained a space in the hearts of the people of Caracas, which is how today the presentations of the different ballet companies tend to capture the public's attention and, therefore, fill entire theaters.

Afortunadamente vivo en una >ciudad en donde la movida cultural es muy dinámica, todos los días tenemos la oportunidad de descubrir diversos eventos que nos permiten disfrutar de momentos enriquecedores e inolvidables, lo más interesante de todos es que estamos hablando de presentaciones de altísima calidad que se ajustan a todos los presupuestos y que pueden ser disfrutadas sobre los escenarios más icónicos de la capital venezolana. Durante muchos años el ballet fue considerado como una actividad exclusiva de las élites sociales, pero con el pasar del tiempo esta delicada y refinada expresión artística se ganó un espacio dentro del corazón del pueblo caraqueño, es de esta forma como hoy en día las presentaciones de las diferentes compañías de ballet suelen acaparar la mirada del público y, por lo tanto, abarrotar teatros completos.
The ballet companies of my country when compared to those of countries like Russia or Ukraine are relatively new, have less experience and, therefore, worldwide are not so well known, but to tell the truth over the years it is evident that companies like the Ballet Nuevo Mundo or the Ballet del Teatro Teresa Carreño have been perfecting their technique and consequently refining their quality, thus generating amazing shows, where we can enjoy firm steps, but serene and natural movements that appear to be executed with total tranquility to the rhythm of the musical notes.
Las compañías de ballet de mi país al compararlas con la de países como Rusia o Ucrania son relativamente nuevas, cuentan con menos experiencia y, por lo tanto, a nivel mundial no son tan conocidas, pero a decir verdad con el pasar de los años es evidente que compañías como el Ballet Nuevo Mundo o el Ballet del Teatro Teresa Carreño han ido perfeccionando su técnica y como consecuencia refinando su calidad, generando de esta forma espectáculos alucinantes, en donde podemos disfrutar de pasos firmes, pero serenos y de movimientos naturales que aparecieran ejecutarse con total tranquilidad al ritmo de las notas musicales.
It is in this way that in this opportunity on the stage of the iconic Municipal Theater of Caracas the Ballet Company of the Teresa Carreño Theater gave us a unique and special performance, it was a gala where they gave the public different scenes of iconic works of classical music, such as Swan Lake or the opera Carmen. It was a presentation where the different members of the company demonstrated their best skills, which are the result of years of constant work and exclusive dedication to this elegant and precious art.
Es de esta forma como en esta oportunidad sobre el escenario del icónico Teatro Municipal de Caracas la compañía de Ballet del Teatro Teresa Carreño nos brindó una función única y especial, se trató de una gala en donde le regalaron al público diferentes escenas de obras icónicas de la música clásica, como lo son por ejemplo el Lago de los Cisnes o la ópera Carmen. Se trató de una presentación en donde los diferentes miembros de la compañía demostraron sus mejores habilidades, las cuales son el resultado de años de trabajo constante y dedicación exclusiva a este elegante y precioso arte.
Having the opportunity to enjoy shows as sublime as this help me to walk a path of peace and spiritual calm, where life seems to pause and a sense of deep well-being dominates my whole being. It also gives me endless positive energies, which I use as the perfect fuel to move forward in the midst of such a turbulent and stressful world.
Tener la oportunidad de disfrutar de espectáculos tan sublimes como este me ayudan a transitar por un sendero de paz y calma espiritual, en donde la vida parece ponerse en pausa y una sensación de profundo bienestar domina todo mi ser, Igual me regala un sinfín de energías positivas, las cuales utilizo como el combustible perfecto para seguir adelante en medio de un mundo tan convulso y estresante.
