The change in weather has given me a cold. Maybe you already know that I am not in Venezuela, especially if you follow my parents here on the blockchain, you will already know that we have traveled to Buenos Aires.
Winter has only been there for a couple of days, but my body is used to more than 30 degrees in the city of Cumaná, so you can imagine the impact of the change in temperature now that the warmest moments are around 16 and For now, the coldest is around 9 degrees.
Instead of going out to explore, I have had to take care of my health and be patient with myself. After all, there have been a lot of changes in a very short time.
To warm the body I prepared some infusions for myself and my parents. They seem to be adjusting better than me, which I'm glad about because I don't want them to get sick.
Here I don't have the aromatic herbs from my garden in Cumaná: Melissa, Citronella, Santa María... maybe later we can have a pot with plants to make infusions or season meals, but for now we are going to have to use infusions of envelopes.
I had a rosehip one that was very delicious, although I like the Jamaican flower one better. I have to see if I can get Jamaican flowers here, although I probably can.
Ginger, lemon, and thyme are my secret cold-fighting weapon, so they're at the top of my shopping list for when I'm out exploring.
The infusion warms our body and good company warms our heart, both things are needed to heal.
Having a cough and congestion makes my brain a little slow, but I will try to share with you the little I have been able to explore and some beautiful things from our trip.
I lived in Cumaná all my life and never traveled very far. Discovering this beautiful city makes me feel like I'm living a dream. I'll tell you a little more.
