Having a space like this is like having a chair in front of the window to say all the feelings that may be useful to others for the understanding and development of personality from childhood.
The Empire of the Useless takes over or at least tries to do so at some stage of our lives. My adolescence was not ordinary, but I was not unhappy because of it because in some way I had a certain spiritual wealth since I was little. Since I was a child I had to assume my mother's responsibilities towards my siblings. From the ages of 10 to 15 we have a lot of uncertainty, doubts and we have not yet left the innocence of childhood, it is logical to assume responsibilities such as organizing clothes, organizing the room, helping our mother with minor tasks, going to school and things like that. simple things that end up forming character and we do well, but we are never prepared for contempt and abuse.
At this age my life was very complex, my parents had separated a few years before and we moved to the city, a different world that sometimes intimidated us. More than once my sister, because she was the oldest, had to respond to the abuse that we were subjected to because we were children from a small country town. No adult reacted to this, perhaps because we did not make complaints, but it was the closest thing to the bullying that is talked about so much in other countries.
But not only was I mocked by the children, but some adults also brought that kind of morbidity that damages the development of a teenager. When I was six years old, my first grade teacher hit me on the chest with a ruler because I lost the pencil sharpening blade, a blade stolen by another child who never got a reprimand.
Physically I was a more developed girl than others and for that reason I received ridicule from other children. Even a seventh grade biology class teacher gave me an example of body structure, which psychologically adds shame to teenagers.
In women's childhood and adolescence, they suffer the lascivious gaze of men and the judgment of other women; Those were barriers that I had to break down for my growth.
But I was very mature and analytical, I also had contradictions due to reacting to an event in a way when others did not see it the same way, I learned to differentiate when someone is honest or lying. Many adore lies and darkness, I go with the truth even when others cannot see it and I transit in the light, that is my motto.
Hyperhidrosis has been a distinctive sign in my journey through life. Since I was a child I had the first manifestation of excessive sweating in my hands and feet. In my adulthood I prioritized having tissues; While others hid it from me, it was something normal that I had to live with. But it wasn't that easy, it wasn't even a day's work, many teachers reproached me for the dirt on the pages of the notebooks and I failed more than once for it.
I was a different girl and teenager, smiling and noble; intuitive and kind. All these details, which are just some of the many that we face, helped me to be confident and determined, to not accept physical or psychological abuse at my side.
Spirituality can give us more strength than what we carry in our physical body. Going along illuminated paths protects us from falling under the empire of the useless
