I have heard many people affirm that we are born free, however, I believe that this is not entirely true, since we are born we have been immersed in a society that largely determines our lives, depending on how lucky you are at birth, you could have a certain amount rights according to the laws of your country, likewise the law never applies the same to everyone, although that is the propaganda of so many politicians in the world, the law is very different depending on your social class or environment, so I believe that we are not born free, We are born to be part of a society where your value is determined only by how much money you can make in your life, so what would we have to do to achieve freedom? I have asked myself many times, also, what could we achieve by being free? Well, I always answer that to be free is to be happy, or to be happy is to be able to be free.
But to be free under what conditions? That would be another of the questions that I have asked myself so much, there are people who are against the system and spend their lives trying to be free in a way that only isolates them from society, I have known some very sad cases of young people lost in drugs and living on the street, just because they do not see themselves being free in such an unfair social environment, but end up being slaves to their addiction because of their personal vision of what it means to be free or their own desire for freedom, while that freedom they say they enjoy so much does not give them even a shred of happiness 馃様

Perhaps my vision of freedom seems a little conformist, but for me the best way to be free is to give in a little to the game of society, trying at least to find something that we are passionate about and being willing to pay the price that means. live exercising your passion, be productive within your own rules, not because society forces you but because you yourself have found a way to live doing what you are passionate about. You have to have courage to carry out the plan to live what you are passionate about, because in a society where money matters more than passion and individual freedom, there will always be many obstacles, in my very particular case I have always I have heard that artists or artisans have to go hungry to be able to succeed, but most of them only go hungry without success, I think that this vision of success and happiness is very superficial because my success is determined only by me.

The best example I had in my life is my father, who dedicated himself to making musical instruments, he managed to be well recognized but he had no money, he only had enough to live with dignity, but he was happy doing what he was passionate about, he was free , he did not owe money to anyone, he obviously paid his taxes, but everything he had done had been achieved thanks to his courage to follow his passion while being free, but to get to do that I had to endure many years at the beginning being a person who He worked for others, thus gathering the courage and the foundation of his first investment of materials to start and follow through with his dream, even when the world was against him, he charted his own path to freedom and happiness. This is what Thucydides' phrase 鈥淭he secret to happiness is freedom... And the secret to freedom is courage." means to me, a phrase that @galenkp kindly shares with us in Weekend-Engagement writing topics: WEEK 161馃槉
