Saludos querida comunidad, aunque falta un poco más de dos meses para la navidad, es este precisamente el mejor momento para comenzar para los encargos navideños, así tanto los clientes como yo nos veremos apresurados, por eso decidí hacer una versión mini de los amigurumis del pesebre navideño, para poder ofrecerle a mis clientes más opciones, comenzando en esta oportunidad por la Virgen María con el niño Jesús en brazos, para después incluir a San José en este proyecto, esperando les guste 😊

Greetings, dear community! Although Christmas is still a little over two months away, this is precisely the best time to start taking Christmas orders so that neither my clients nor I feel rushed. That is why I decided to create a mini version of the Nativity scene amigurumis to offer my clients more options; I am starting with the Virgin Mary holding Baby Jesus, and plan to include Saint Joseph in the project later on. Proceso / Process

Para este proyecto usé hilo acrílico para crochet y ganchillo de 1.25mm, comencé haciendo la suela de la sandalia con un ovalo de 12 puntadas, cambié a hilo color piel y trabajé dos hileras y luego una hilera con 4 disminuciones en la punta para continuar con 8 puntadas por 3 hileras, uní las piernas por 2 cadenas y continué por 4 hileras, aparte hice la falda de 20 puntadas en circulo por 9 hileras, uní al torso y continué por 3 hileras antes de unir los brazos, hice disminuciones hasta obtener el cuello.

For this project, I used acrylic crochet yarn and a 1.25mm hook; I started by making the sandal sole using an oval of 12 stitches, switched to skin-colored yarn and worked two rows, followed by a row with 4 decreases at the toe, then continued with 8 stitches for 3 rows; I joined the legs with 2 chains and worked for another 4 rows. Separately, I made the skirt—working in the round with 20 stitches for 9 rows—attached it to the torso, and worked 3 more rows before attaching the arms, then made decreases until the neck was formed.

Para el cuello cambié a color piel y para la cabeza hice 6 aumentos por hileras hasta obtener 36, coloqué los ojos e hice 6 disminuciones por hilera rellenando antes de cerrar, para el cabello hice un círculo de 24 puntadas y sobre este hice 6 mechones de cabello.

For the neck, I switched to a skin tone, and for the head, I worked 6 increases per round until reaching 36 stitches; I inserted the eyes and then worked 6 decreases per round, stuffing the piece before closing it. For the hair, I made a circle of 24 stitches and worked 6 strands of hair onto it.

Para el niño Jesús trabajé la cabeza con 8 puntos bajos en un anillo y 8 aumentos, 16 puntos bajos por cinco hileras, luego 8 disminuciones y cambié a hilo blanco para el cuerpo haciendo aumentos nuevamente para obtener 16, hice el borde antes de la hilera de disminuciones de cierre, el cabello lo hice igual que la cabeza pero con un borde de 3 cadenas y punto deslizados consecutivamente.

Para el manto de la virgen hice 27 cadenas de base para trabajar en recto pero usando el último punto para hacer 3 aumentos por 6 hileras y lograr el ancho de la cabeza, trabaje por 10 hileras más e hice el borde con hilo color trigo.

For the Baby Jesus, I worked the head starting with 8 single crochet stitches in a magic ring, followed by 8 increases; I worked 16 single crochet stitches for five rows, then 8 decreases. I switched to white yarn for the body, increasing again to reach 16 stitches, and added a border before the final row of decreases used to close the piece. I made the hair the same way as the head but added a border of 3-chain segments followed by consecutive slip stitches.

For the Virgin's mantle, I started with a foundation chain of 27 stitches to work back and forth; I worked 3 increases in the last stitch over 6 rows to match the width of the head, worked for another 10 rows, and finished the border using wheat-colored yarn.
