Today I had the fortunate time to meet up with Pak Amran Taib. If you're familiar with the salutations in Indonesia, Pak refers to Mr while Ibu refers to Ms or Madam. That's how they address each other.
Well, today Pak Amran dropped by & gave me surprise ☕️ invitation. Actually, Pak Amran isn't from Indonesia. He's a genuine Malaysian citizen but due to his nature of work, he basically knows every single culture in Indonesia.
That's why if we ever wanted any advise about handling our Indonesian guests, he'll be the first person we call upon.
I guess that's why when people say if you want business from a specific country, localization is the Number #1 factor.
