5 Minutes, just 5 more Minutes.. I promised I'll be out of bed. The snooze bell rang again. I've forgotten how many times I've shut it down
Urggh !!! I dragged myself to open up my lazy eyes... I could see the sun blazing down at me.
S*** !!! I've overslept ! I jumped right out of bed. Looked at the walk clock & it shows 10 minutes to 9. I'm so in trouble this time. There's a staff meeting at 9.30 & Helen, my boss doesn't like it if any of us are late for meetings
I rushed to the shower, doing all things at the same time. In 10 minutes, I was out from the shower. I grabbed whatever I could reach first. Today is definitely not the Best Dressed Award session for me. As I grabbed my laptop & wallet, I couldn't help but realized that there were sounds of kids laughing outside the bedroom.
Why are the kids home ? Aren't they supposed to be at school ?
There was no time to think or ask. I opened the door. Lizzie & the boys were in the playroom.

And I was out of the door. I didn't even wait to hear Lizzie shouting her lungs out, calling for me. There was no time. It was 15 minutes past 9. I can still make it if I took the short cut. As I was in the lift, I planned my route in my head; turn left, then right, uphill & I'll be there. Just valet park as that will save me 3 minutes at least. The lift door opened & I'm out. Immediately started my engine & out I drove.
Suddenly out of nowhere, Lizzie jumped right out in front of me !
I SLAMMED my brakes just in time.
DAMN Lizzie!! What were you thinking about! I could've hit you. I'm late for work. Move aside
