Joe, a young agronomist was posted to a newly established farm settlement by the government. It lacked basic living amenities. Most farmers there usually resort to going into the neighbouring villages to get water and other domestic stuffs. The government needed someone who knows about farming to guide the peasants who throng the farm as daily workers. Joe was therefore drafted in to fill the void. There was also no modern means of transportation except with chariots, horses and carriages.
When Joe woke up in the morning at the farm settlement where he was recently posted for his practicals he realized that he needs some domestic materials including water. He saw others trouping out of their hokes and filing to fetch water. He knows he was not meant for such tedious job. He decided to negotiate with a close peasant who agreed to help him fetch the water.
That morning, a carriage stopped by at his door and the occupant alighted and made straight to his door. Joe upon sighting the fellow quickly jumped down from his bed and went straight to meet him.
They exchanged pleasantries and Joe gave him some cash. The man saluted him and went back to his carriage**** and drove off.
In no less time he came back with some gallons of water and Joe was happy. He also bought a toothpaste for him. And with it, Joe was able to brush his mouth.
