The Abreuvoir Street in Montmartre is one of the most picturesque in the neighborhood. It exudes a bohemian atmosphere that once attracted many famous artists, including Picasso and Toulouse-Lautrec, in the 19th century.
I pause for a moment in front of the Imperial Eagle house to admire its eagle and sundial crowned with a rooster.

La rue de l'Abreuvoir, à Montmartre, est l'une des plus pittoresques du quartier. Il y règne une atmosphère bohème, qui a attiré, jadis, de nombreux artistes célèbres, dont Picasso et Toulouse-Lautrec, au XIX^ème siècle.
Je m'arrête un instant devant la maison de l'Aigle Impérial pour y admirer son aigle et son cadran solaire surmonté d'un coq.
