The charming village of Charonne, once independent, was annexed to Paris in 1860, thereby becoming an integral part of the capital. Despite this transformation, certain areas have managed to preserve their old-world charm. This is how I had the pleasure of discovering the garden, known as "Paysan Urbain," situated on the roof of the Charonne reservoir. This unique space offers a true rural oasis in the heart of the metropolis, attesting to the ability of certain places to capture the bucolic essence amidst the urban bustle.

Le charmant village de Charonne, autrefois indépendant, a été intégré à Paris en 1860, devenant ainsi une partie inséparable de la capitale. Malgré cette transformation, certaines zones ont réussi à préserver leur charme d'antan. C'est ainsi que j'ai eu le plaisir de découvrir le jardin, connu sous le nom de Paysan Urbain, situé sur le toit du réservoir de Charonne. Cet espace singulier offre une véritable oasis champêtre au cœur même de la métropole, témoignant de la capacité de certains lieux à capturer l'essence bucolique au sein de l'effervescence urbaine.
